DINOSAUR ROOM - Two Twin Bunks, Four Beds The fourth bedroom is an ideal space for kids or young adults, featuring two sturdy bunk beds that comfortably accommodate four. Packed with entertainment, this room promises hours of enjoyment with a foosball table, arcade games, and a variety of toys and books suitable for all ages. SAFARI ROOM - Full Bed, Twin Trundle The fifth bedroom showcases a full-size bed with a twin trundle, ideal for the young ladies in your group who adore slumber parties. Complete with a vanity adorned with Hollywood-style lights, this room beckons girls to indulge in hours of playful dress-up and hairstyling fun. BATHROOMS: Every bathroom is equipped with an abundance of plush towels and essential amenities. We've also installed plenty of towel hooks to accommodate all guests' items. There's a full bathroom downstairs in the hall, another at the top of the stairs, and a third en suite bathroom off the upstairs master. KITCHEN: The cook in your party will be delighted to find a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make memorable meals during your stay. You'll find baking sheets, pots and pans, cutting boards, a crockpot, waffle maker, blender, and many other essentials. The refrigerator offers plenty of space along with a Brita water filter and a pull-out freezer. For quick cooking, there's an oven, toaster, microwave, and air fryer. Enjoy the convenience and versatility of this well-equipped kitchen, perfect for creating delicious dishes while on vacation. To make mealtime enjoyable and worry-free for all our guests, we've included plastic dinnerware, silverware, and cups specifically for our young eaters. For added convenience, you'll also find baby spoons, sticky-bottom plates, and lidded cups, ensuring parents can relax and savor their meals without any fuss. Just off the kitchen is our quaint and sunny coffee and tea room, perfect for that early morning indulgence that wakes the soul. You'll find a coffee maker, hot water kettle, filters, and coffee grounds that our guests are welcome to enjoy. This cozy space is ideal for starting your day with a fresh cup of coffee or a soothing tea. LIVING ROOMS: Our home boasts two living rooms, one in the front and another down the hall. Both rooms are furnished with luxurious large L-shaped couches and additional side seating. This setup allows grown-ups to enjoy a movie in one room while the younger ones watch something else in the other. Each living room features a large Roku TV that can be used to sign into any streaming services. OUTDOOR SPACES: Upon walking up the front porch, you'll find inviting seating options including a bench, porch swing, and rocking chair. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a private patio with plenty of seating for lounging or a swing chair perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a good book. At the back of the house, you'll discover a partial wrap-around porch featuring a sectional sofa, an egg chair, and a comfortable dining space for ten. A four-burner grill is available, ideal for summer barbecues. Beyond the deck, there's a brand-new hot tub with seating for eight, surrounded by nearby chairs for conversation. Both adults and kids will enjoy hours of fun with our yard games, including cornhole, tetherball, connect four, Jenga, and ladder ball. Children can also play on our three-tier treehouse, which is equipped with two slides, a climbing wall, and a swingset. As you continue through the yard, you'll find our expansive firepit with ample seating for cozy nights under the stars, perfect for roasting s’mores. Each porch is equipped with a fan to help alleviate the Texas heat and keep away flying nuisances.
Other Details to Note
- Stays longer than 2 weeks, we require a light cleaning every 2 weeks in addition to the checkout cleaning. ANIMALS: - We allow up to 2 dogs of 60lbs each, for $150 per stay. If you want to bring more than 2 dogs or any over 60lbs, please send us an inquiry, and we will approve on a case-by-case basis. Cats are not considered due to severe allergies - Dogs must stay off of the furniture and bedding. If your dogs are used to being on the sofa or bed, please use the provided coverings to protect the furniture. - Pet waste bags are provided and are to be used. A $50 waste pick-up will be charged if you do not clean up after your pet NOISE ORDINANCE: This is a family home. We encourage our guests to have fun, but please be respectful of our very sweet neighbors and keep the noise to a minimum at all times. We are surrounded by full time residents who we love and who love us, and appreciate their peace and quiet. We ask that you keep outdoor music family friendly and at appropriate levels as to not disrupt peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Everyone should be indoors by 11pm. WILDLIFE & MAINTENANCE: Our home is in a rural residential neighborhood with large lots and a lot of wildlife. There will be a lot of insects, bugs and other creatures that give the property its wonderful relaxing country feel. While we stay on top of pest maintenance, we ask you to expect that bugs may enter the home when doors are left open, get tracked in on shoes and luggage and are part of life in the country. There will not be any refunds or cancellations in regard to normal bugs & wildlife. We appreciate your understanding of this. SAFETY CONSIDERATION: - There are three fire extinguishers on site. One is located outside near the grill, one is located in the kitchen on the wall, and one is located inside the upstairs master closet. - There is a fire blanket and first aid kit in the laundry room. - There are child safety locks on the cabinet under the kitchen sink.

Though it feels wonderfully secluded, you’re only a short drive from Glen Rose’s local favorites — including the Historic Town Square, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, Big Rocks Park, and the Dinosaur Valley State Park trails. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, reconnect with nature, and still be close enough to enjoy boutique shopping, cozy cafes, and down-home restaurants. Expect the sounds of crickets at night, deer sightings in the morning, and friendly locals who’ll greet you with a smile.
Guest Access
The entire house and the acre it sits on is yours to enjoy. The backyard is completely fenced in for your children and fur babies to run around. There is no garage, but there is room for four to five vehicles in the driveway. There is no access to the metal shed on the property.
